Class Combination

Class Combination

10/5/2010

It was great to see everyone's projects today. What an amazing amount of talent. I know everyone learned something from this. I know I did. I now have a bunch of tools to make polymer clay stuff. I do beading, so can now make my own beads. I got a book on Polymer Clay mileflora art and beads. I've been experimenting. It's fun, and reminds me of being in elementary school. Clay was always one of my favorite activities.

I also do mosaics and had a book for months about making my own tiles. It looked like some great fun and cool projects, and now I have the tools, I just need the time.
My mosaic class starts up again this Saturday. I know my instructor will be pleased that I finished the Madonna. It only took me 150 hours. I need his help to cut it to size so I can get it framed and then start exhibiting it so I can sell it. It was one of those things I just had to do to get it out of my system so I could move on to more creative projects.

After only getting a few hours sleep lately, I must say good night.

  1. How do I include a link back to the Interior Design blog?

  2. Rose, I loved your interpretation of Branding. I admire your energy, enthusiasm and professionalism, let alone creativity. Some days you just keep me going with your bright smile! I look forward to the following semesters with you. I'm going to be inspired by following your future successes. We've only just begun!

  3. Rose - you are definitely one talented lady! After those anime me - now beads and mosaics?! I loved seeing your design and it was definitely worth the loss of sleep (not sure if you agree). ;) It was also interesting to see your thought process implemented in the second model. You took great care to ensure the models were stable, and held the product securely. Again, awesome job!
